Extreme political polarization in America today is a threat to our national and economic security. The 2020 election presents an opportunity for Democrats to nominate a pragmatic, diplomatic candidate who may defeat Donald Trump, restore the rule of law, and unify — or at least work to represent — the majority of the country. We have some overwhelming odds in America today to see to fruition a real change back to Constitutionality, and Freedom. Our plight to the end must run through the lantern of the scales of justice. The bell of Freedom is silent as Old Glory furls in the calm winds of time.
We watched as Kamala Harris transformed the doubts about Donald Trump into a D.A. brief interrogation of his deeds, and Booker showed his ability to understand the plight of the minority and people of color, and the true meaning of growing up in the projects with crime and violence and fatherless homes. We listened to a tech-savvy Yang bring about a freedom dividend where every middle and lower-income American could enjoy the fruits of their labor. We saw the footsteps of one Beto O’Rourke going to fisheries in New Hampshire, processing plants in Mississippi, going to El Passo, his home town after a Trump-induced terrorist mass shooting. We cried with Beto, we danced with Beto, we played the air drums with Beto, and we dreamed of a unified America with Beto leading all Americans to a safe world for our children and grandchildren, from Climate change policies to military gun proposals, to medical health care for all, and we believed. But America did not want good people who truly understood the conflicts, sadness, and bittersweet tears around America, and ran to the flavor of the Day politician.
Asked why he thinks the workplace raids took place in Mississippi, O’Rourke said: “I don’t know, other than to strike terror into the heart of this community.”
“And if that were the goal, and I think it is from Donald Trump — we see a tenfold increase in these kinds of ICE raids in his administration versus the last administration — if that is his goal, he’s getting it done,” he said. “He’s terrifying this community — people who have done nothing to anybody else, pose no threat to America. So, there’s no other reason to raid this community, other than to terrify this community.” It is time for Americans to RAGE against the darkness, the stillness of Freedom, and bring forth new enlightenment of Constitutionality, Inspiration, Compassion, Dignity, and Integrity. The Blue wave has fallen to a ripple within the sands of unworthy candidates in most cases. It is time that America fill those shoes of great leaders of the past, and leaders like Beto O’Rourke of today.
Many shall fall to the hypnotizing of free everything, but free everything comes at a mighty price. Slave style labor, empty store shelves, inflation makes the affordable, unaffordable, and only the government can bail people out. This socialistic style governing leaves one to be extremely beholden to an uncontrollable government, and Freedom is lost, the scales of justice torn asunder, and the bells of genuine Freedom crack.
Others sway to the thought of a person who utilizes minority enhancements to increase their standing for jobs and even to get into politics. If America falls to the yesterday’s failures of those using lies to gain influence and prestige, they will lose their ability to unify the moral and immoral of the country and only see a further widening of hate crimes and divisive acts.
Other’s shall swoon to the flavor of a minority just because they are a minority, while they go to underground wine cellars that ooze millionaire influence in the political spectrum, and begs for higher stakes for monetary assistance today. Incapable of bringing minorities and people of color together in their hometown as mayor, a particular group believes this same politician somehow can unify all Americans. If America falls for the disgrace of objectified politics, then there will be a mass challenge to every policy or idea that is brought forward. The wave becomes a desert blowing in the wind.
For many Americans, they push the Vote Blue no Matter Who mantra, but they realize that the best was pushed out by lies, ignorance, and hateful pundits working for several groups, including some of the other candidates. If your candidate cannot fill the shoes of Kamala, Booker, Yang, or Beto, then your candidate is not the right choice for America. By not fighting to keep those four in the running, you are culpable for the downfall of the Blue Wave, and in the end, America. Three of the top four candidates are not the right choice to unify America, have too extreme of questionable past, and are not what America needs to bring compassion, unification, and integrity back.
For many Americans, they still believe in Beto and the inspiration he brought to everyone he spoke to as he visited thousands of Americans. He brought light to that darkness that has permeated every corner of America since Donald Trump became President. He showed passion, and he understood pain. He felt American’s worries. Beto excited the young, brought true passion to the elderly, and included all in his walk to the White House. Beto found warriors to travel the country, some of who never worked for any campaign before his. Beto created light in each person’s heart, one of opportunity, unity, integrity, and inspiration.
When a Republican moves to support a Democrat like Beto, and the Independent moves to Texas to be closer to the center of Beto’s campaign and faithful supporters, then there is something that can only be felt, not touched, not bought, nor schemed to purchase to be a real difference in America. Three states decided during the primaries, and the Russians, pundits, and those who have something to gain from one candidate over another have already called a national winner. You have a legitimate ex VP, a philanthropist, and businessperson who is a political billionaire with experience, and a tenacious strong and powerful Senator to choose for your candidate. You can find one that mirrors the majority of your concerns and see a better tomorrow for America. You do not need to once again push the lowest denominator as your choice for Democrats, which inevitably will give the election to Donald Trump, once again.
The election of 2020 is not about lost opportunities, or you, but about all of America. 2020 is not about yesterday’s ideas, but a future of opportunity and Freedom. In the year 2020, it is attempting to fill the shoes of integrity, compassion, unity, and a future for all. 2020 is about the lantern on Lady Liberty shining brightly once again and the scales of justice being equal for all in the halls of the political race. 2020 is about the acceptance of all, compassion for all, equality for all, and integrity from all. In 2020, let us all attempt to fill those shoes, and bring light into that darkness. Let us not go silently into that goodnight, but forever Rage against the darkness of yesterday, and bring the future brightly into America.
