I Dare to Dream
I believe in what can be
More than what is, for I have the imagination to build castles in the sky, meadows in the sea, and sunsets in a foggy afternoon.
I do not give into yesterday, for it promises nothing more than what has been, but I dare to dream of the tomorrow and what can be.
I see a caterpillar and see an angelic butterfly, for I know what can be. Can’t you see?
A touch is a beginning. A smile is more than just what we see, but what it could be.
I feel the dew upon the grass and see green fields and meadows that will adorn the countryside.
I feel the warmth of a sunrise and know that I can fly if I dare to Dream.
I dare to dream of princes and princesses, castles and clouds, dancing in the rain, and singing to all who can hear. I dare to dream, don’t you?
Come on a journey, just you and me. We will smell the flowers and play with the bees. Walk with me on the beaches of some unknown island, and watch the twinkling of stars as we stare above and what could be. I dare to dream.
I dare to dream…
