The Nazi Style Policing of America

The Nazis shielded the police from public criticism by censoring the press. They ended street fighting by eliminating the Communist threat. Police manpower was even extended by the incorporation of Nazi paramilitary organizations as auxiliary policemen. The Nazis centralized and fully funded the police to better combat criminal gangs and promote state security. The Nazi state increased staff and training, and modernized police equipment. The Nazis offered the police the broadest latitude in arrests, incarceration, and the treatment of prisoners. The police moved to take “preventive action,” that is, to make arrests without the evidence required for a conviction in court and indeed without court supervision at all.

When one looks at the latest in protests after the George Floyd murder by the Minneapolis police and the suffocation by holding George down while the officer held his knee on George’s neck. Donald Trump took cues from the Nazi book of controlling the masses. One cannot deny that tear gas, rubber bullets, and beatings with batons on people who were peacefully protesting are not only against the United States Constitution but are also directly from the Nazi Days of Germany.

Adolf Hitler posed as a champion of law and order, claiming he would uphold traditional German values. The police and many other conservatives looked forward to the extension of police power promised by a strong centralized state, welcomed the end of factional politics, and agreed to end democracy. The Nazi state was not a restoration of the imperial tradition. It was at its core thoroughly racist. The Nazis took control and transformed the traditional police forces of the Weimar Republic into an instrument of state repression and, eventually, of genocide.

In Today’s violent police state, it is common to see Police brutality, selective stops, false arrests, military tactics against citizens, entrapment, and the use of Military weapons from bazookas to armored carriers. This looks more like a scene from the communist China and the Tiananmen Square government-sanctioned murders in 1989. While Citizens use their God-given and Constitutional right to protest peacefully, Donald Trump is attempting to stop all disagreement with him and his incredulous and criminal activities.

Donald Trump used these same tactics to clear a path so he could go to a local church for a photo opportunity and did the same at Mount Rushmore. Videos showed officers using batons, tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets on protesters and bystanders. On June second, it was reported by several news sources that President Trump on Monday threatened to deploy federal troops if state and city leaders do not act to quell acts of violence and looting amid protests over the killing of George Floyd. After federal authorities used rubber bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas to clear peaceful protesters from around the White House, Trump walked across Lafayette Square to St. John’s Church and posed for photos while holding up a Bible. At Mount Rushmore, the Lakota Native Americans were holding a peaceful protest and Authorities declared it an ‘unlawful assembly’ before police and National Guard soldiers moved in and a standoff ensued, with officers using pepper spray and smoke bombs to disperse crowds. Sadly, these are Nazi-style actions, and there is a small portion of the country that cheered this on, while not realizing that they are on the stolen ground, not the Lakota Native Americans.

We need to remove the idea that the police are the legal authority around the country. They need to be held to a higher standard and must be trained and tested regularly for psychotic episodes and racial hatred. America must demand that the police are for community policing, and all military weapons must be removed from every police force around the country. Cameras must be used by all police, and we must start the trend as Britain has where many local police units have no guns, period. America is not Nazi Germany, Moscow, Russia, or China, and the citizens have the right to civil and peaceful protests, and these protests need to be protected, not dispersed by an out of control police organization. The time has come that if a municipality, county, or state has the so-called non-existent quotas for the police should lose all federal funding, and those who approved such tactics need to be incarcerated. All non-government jails and prisons must be disbanded and never be used again. Incarceration is not supposed to be a money-making proposition. The system that the privileged wealthy white people have with expensive lawyers that get out of jail awaiting trial needs to be afforded to all Innocent until proven guilty citizens, and the rich and powerful lawyers need to be called up to do pro-bono work on an annual basis, and if they continue to lose those cases, their license to practice law needs to be revoked.

This is America, not Germany from a century ago, not Putin’s Russia, and not China or North Korea. We do not boast our military, do not attack our own citizens, and never remove our Constitutional Rights. It is time to remove the Nazi-style sympathizers and Communist agitators that are U.S. citizens from all political action. The time that America becomes America again. Just remember that Nazi Germany under Hitler was called Nazism which is a form of fascism, with disdain for liberal democracy and the parliamentary system.
